BE MY EYES BUDDIES
BME Buddies mentor Unsighted Students from NAB INDIA CENTRE FOR BLIND WOMEN, Hauz Khas by attending training sessions and running along with the Unsighted participants at the ONE RACE Half Marathon
For their volunteering, BMY Buddies are entitled to a complimentary race tee, sewa bib, sew medal, refreshments and volunteers appreciation certificate. The T shirts and Bibs have to be collected from the ONE RACE Festival of Humanity Bib Expo one day prior to the race. Volunteers also need to attend a Briefing meet at the Expo.
NAB's Unsighted girls have trained to Bake and create handicrafts. Their hand made small items will be available for sale at the EXPO and buddies can show support by encourarging friends and families to visit the stall and buy a souvenir at the expo.
25 Unsighted runners o have been training to participate in the race on Feb 4, 2024 along with their Buddy Runners. We rise when we lift others and we see better when we help others to see.
